The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Praise the Lord

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord – Psalms 150:6

Praising should be the virtue of every Christian. It is written in Psalms 22:3 – Our God dwells among the praises of his people. One of the ways to please God is praising Him.

For example, we read in Acts 16:25, in spite of being jailed Paul and Silas were praising God in the midnight and suddenly there was an earthquake, and they were released from their chains. Even in the adverse situation praising God broke their chains.

In the Old Testament, when the King of Judah (Jehoshaphat) was surrounded by enemy armies of Moab, Ammon, and Mount Seir, Israelites used praise as the strategy to attack them. When they praised God, they were delivered from the hand of their enemies. Scripture says David praised God seven times a day. He received his breakthroughs by praising God in adverse situations.

Prayer: Father God, enable us to praise you in all situations and receive our breakthroughs. In Jesus name I pray – Amen!!!
