Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer – Rom 12:12
Joyful in Hope – People of the world don't have any hope. Some believe they were accidentally born in this world, and they are a burden to family and society. They indulge in self-pity. On the contrary, every believer has a hope. We know that we are not accidentally born but God has created us for a specific purpose, and He has plans for our lives.
Patient in affliction – I don't think the sufferings we are going through now are even worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed to us in the future. Scripture says to rejoice in the suffering because it produces endurance and endurance produces character and character produces hope. While going through afflictions, remember one thing God will never let you be tempted beyond your ability.
Faithful in prayer – In the parable of unjust Judge, we see that the judge provides justification because of the widow's perseverance/never give-up attitude. How much more our father in heaven will answer our prayers – Men ought to always pray and not to faint – Luke 18:1.
Prayer: Father God, help us to be persistent in our prayers and never give-up due to the current temporary afflictions that we go through in this world. In Jesus name I pray – Amen!!!
