The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

SPAM-LOW Believe to receive your victory.

2 Chronicles 20:20 “And they rose early in the morning and went out into the wilderness of Tekoa. And when they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem! Believe in the Lord your God, and you will be established; believe his prophets, and you will succeed.”
We see that Judah and Jerusalem were surrounded by a big army. Can you imagine how that must have felt when your enemy is at your door and he seems very well equipped and seems like you are outnumbered. We might lose all our hopes and courage, and be ready to accept our defeat because we feel that there’s no way out.
2 Chronicles story of Jehoshaphat is one of my favorite, wonderful faith-filled scriptures that help me to focus my eyes upon Him (Christ).
Jehoshaphat was one of the best leaders Israel has received who were used to build people’s faith in their God who took them out of mighty Egypt.
Today, often we find ourselves outnumbered by our circumstances, situations, or challenges. Our temptations and guilt of past sins surround us to overtake our joy, we may find ourselves hopeless and ready to give in.
The portion of our meditation today will help us and remind us of the strength, grace, and love of our Lord, He who gave His only Son to redeem us from our slavery of sin and victory in the wilderness over the battle of our guilt.
Come to Him and praise Him with full might, trusting Him to redeem us from our circumstances, situations, the guilt of past sins, and temptations of our future.
God wants to do the same for you. He wants to help defeat the scary things that we face. We simply have to trust God and believe in Him and His goodness.
Let’s step forward and put all in His presence in prayers and supplication and praise Him to glorify His name who brought us the victory over everything that goes against His will for our lives.
Promise: “And he said, Listen, all Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem and King Jehoshaphat: Thus says the Lord to you, Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed at this great horde, for the battle is not yours but God’s.” ‭‭
Prayer: Dear Lord Heavenly Father mighty wonderful God. Lord, help each one of us and fight our battles for us as we look to You, listen to you and praise Your Holy Name. We don’t know what to do, but Lord we know to pray, to ask, seek, and knock and pray Your Kingdom come and Your will be done in all that concerns Your people today. Help us stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. Lord, we join with the Psalmist in saying, “I bless the Lord who gives me counsel.” May we receive our victory over all of our worries, guilt of past sins, and temptations of the future. In Jesus’s Holy Name, I pray Amen.
Have a blessed day!
