The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Spiritual Wall

Nevertheless we made our prayer to our God,  and because of them we set a watch against them day and night. Nehemiah 4:9

In Nehemiah 4, Nehemiah and the Jews are rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem. Sanballat and others are very angry and intend to stop the work by killing Nehemiah and the Jews. Nehemiah and the Jews were not only actively rebuilding, but they were also praying and watching against the enemy day and night.

My Dear, in our lives also, while we build our spiritual walls (Spiritual life), the enemy wants to destroy us by various methods. We also need to pray and set a watch against the enemy day and night.

Prayer and watchfulness should come together to build a strong spiritual life. If both of these powers work together in our lives, then every hole in our spiritual wall (spiritual life) will be exposed, and God will fill it with his anointing, and the enemy will no longer have access to breach our spiritual wall.

My dear, with a strong spiritual wall built by prayer and watchfulness, we can live a life that is pleasing in His sight.  Amen.
