The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Glorious

The Lord has established His throne in heaven,
And His kingdom rules over all. Psalm 103:19

What a Glorious verse. In Psalm 103, from verses one through eighteen, David lists all the benefits/blessings of our unfathomable God. In Verse 19, David says why He only can shower us with daily blessings because He is a Sovereign God.

God established His throne in heaven. He reigns over everything from there; from there, He dispenses grace and justice.

God is watching over all of us from His heavenly throne; we are always under the eyes of God. We are always under the protection of God.

David continues, “His kingdom rules over all.” What is His kingdom? It is His Church (a body of believers united in Christ). We are the kingdom.

In one of his sermons, R.C. Sproul said, “The only way the kingdom of God is going to be manifest in this world before Christ comes is if we manifest it by the way we live as citizens of heaven and subjects of the King.”

God loved us, blessed us, and took us as His people and co-rulers of His kingdom. We must carry our day-to-day lives as citizens of heaven and subjects of this glorious, majestic, sovereign King. Amen.
