Let my mouth be filled with Your praise
And with Your glory all the day. Psalm 71:8
A sign that someone who is truly growing in obedience to God’s Word can be seen by his/her eagerness to praise and worship our Lord in spirit and truth. The psalmist experienced God’s faithfulness in his great, severe troubles and was determined to Praise and Glorify God all day.
Psalmist says,
Psalm 71:6 – …My praise shall be continually of You.
Psalm 71:8 – …And will praise You yet more and more.
Psalm 71:22 – …Also with the lute I will praise You…
My dear, have you also experienced God’s faithfulness in your own life? I’m sure you have.
See Psalm 22:22, Psalm 22:25, Psalm 26:12, Psalm 35:18, Psalm 68:26, Psalm 111:1, and Psalm 116:19; these verses talk about praising and worshipping the Lord in the congregation.
Today being Resurrection Sunday, it is the perfect opportunity for us to Praise and Glorify God in the midst of the congregation. Don’t miss it for anything.
Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary… (Psalm 150:1)
Amen.
