Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,
And into His courts with praise.
Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. Psalms 100:4
It’s Thanksgiving Day. You must be busy searching for recipes for today, or you almost messed up with one. Haha!
Anyway, in psalm 100, the psalmist gives a perfect recipe for perfect praise and worship.
Perfect Praise and Worship consists of the following:
- Joyful noise to the Lord (v1)
- Serving him with gladness (v2)
- Coming into his presence by singing (v2)
- Acknowledging that He is our only God (v3)
- Entering his gates with thanksgiving (v4)
- his courts with praise (v4)
- Thanking him and blessing His name (v4)
Today’s verse is an essential ingredient to perfect praise and worship. Psalmist says It is our duty to sing forth His praise and worship His name.
As you gather around your table with your loved ones, take time to bow your hearts and offer perfect praise and worship to our Almighty, Holy God, from whom all blessings flow.
Praise and Worship that comes from a grateful, thankful heart will open the door to all the wonderful things God has planned for you and your family. Amen.
