And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins. (Mt. 1:21)
Many people in this world follow different ways to save themselves from their sins. People walk on burning coal, dip in the water, and do a variety of things to save themselves. However, no one can save from the Sin except ONE. For one, angles proclaimed His birth; for one, God gave a miraculous birth; for one, shepherds and wise men worshipped after His birth; His name is Jesus, which means “the Lord saves”.
As people are unable to save themselves from their sins, God came down as Jesus into this world to save us all. Upon His birth, the heavenly host praises God saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men” (Luke 2:14). Jesus is the bridge and through Him, peace with God was restored. In order to have complete peace in your hearts, let us celebrate real Christmas by inviting Jesus into our hearts.
