Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid…He will not leave you nor forsake you. Deut. 31:6
Before Moses died and at the age of one hundred and twenty, he spoke to the Israelites. They were in tremendous fear of the Jordan River crossing and the enemies ahead of them. Moses encouraged them and said, “*The Lord your God Himself crosses over the Jordan River before you, and He will destroy these nations from before you.*” When God went before them, he set the crooked places straight, when God was with them, He gave victories to the Israelites.
Today, if you fear your enemies, difficult situations, and your future, remember today’s promise, “Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid…He will not leave you nor forsake you.*” Have you ever seen God forsaking us? To save you and me, God gave His everything. Remember that our God sent His own Son and did not spare Him but delivered Him for our sins? How shall he not be with us and deliver us from these earthly situations? Yes, *if God is for us, who can be against us?
