The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Keep Asking, Keep Seeking and Keep Knocking

So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you…Luke 11:9

At the beginning of this chapter (Luke 11), we see Jesus praying; looking at that, one of the disciples approached Jesus and asked, “Lord, teach us to Pray….” Jesus then says a prayer famously known as the “Model Prayer.” Jesus continues and tells them a parable of a friend to teach them the importance of Persistence. Later Jesus combines both and encourages the disciples to pray persistently.

Today’s verse is an open invitation from our Lord to trust in Him and pray persistently. Persistent prayers are powerful prayers; they help us keep in constant communion with God. Persistent prayers help us to understand God’s will for our lives. Persistent Prayers bring breakthroughs in our lives. Elijah, Daniel, Hannah, Paul, Zacharias…and many more in the bible experienced the miraculous hand of God when they persistently prayed.

Do you also want to experience the miraculous hand of God? Then Keep Asking, Keep Seeking and Keep Knocking… and in accordance to His will, every closed door will be opened, in Jesus’ name…Amen.
