The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

It is Good!

It is good that one should hope and wait quietly For the salvation of the Lord. Lamentations 3:26

When Jeremiah wrote Lamentations, Israel was going through a very tough phase. 400-year-old Temple was burned to the ground, Jerusalem fell, people went into exile, idolatry prevailed, and enemies were mocking the people of God. Yet in the midst of this terrible situation, Jeremiah writes, “It is good that one should hope and wait quietly, For the salvation of the Lord.” Jeremiah reminds us today that even in chaotic situations of life, there is hope.

This morning, let us take some time and remember all the chaotic situations of our lives when we were waiting quietly; Jesus has been our Hope. Let us thank the Lord for His great love, let us thank the Lord for His compassion that never failed, let us thank the Lord for His mercies which are new morning, and let us thank the Lord for His faithfulness. For it is good!!!

Amen.
