And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. 1 Cor. 13:13
Faith: Faith is essential for our spiritual foundation. It is possible to come into a relationship with God only by faith in Christ.
Hope: Hope is the conviction that God will keep His promises about the future. As believers in Christ, we are confident on this.
Love: Of course, faith and hope are important for Christian life but love is even greater than faith and hope. Love that is not balanced by faith and hope undermines the definition of God’s love.
Paul was warning Corinthians that all gifts are worthless and become destructive if they are not practiced through love.
Love is the greatest of all the virtues.
