For You are my rock and my fortress; Therefore, for Your name’s sake, lead me and guide me. – Ps. 31:3

The “rock” symbolizes God’s strength, endurance, and reliability, while the “fortress” represents God’s safeguarding and defense against all forms of harm and danger. As a shepherd leads and protects his flock, so will God guide us.
By following the path that God intends for us, we are not doing it for our own benefit but rather for the sake of His holy name.
The Lord is our great captain of salvation, and stands firm as our unshakeable fortress. Let us honor and exalt Him, giving Him the glory He deserves.
