O Lord my God, I cried out to You, And You healed me. Ps 30:2
David lived a prayerful dependence upon God. God helped, but David cried out and prayed unto Him. No doubt there were many times when David received healing from God from both illness and injury. Yet the idea of healing is also broad enough to include the sense of God’s help and rescue from any great need.
Many times we think healing is just a physical need but more than that we need healing in every area of our life whether it’s spiritual, emotional and in our relationships. Healing is a lifelong process which occurs by the sovereign grace of God, through faith in Jesus Christ and with the help of the Holy Spirit.
We all might have heard the word duct tape, which we commonly use to patch up things that are broken. In Sweden duct tape is popularly known as Jesus tape. They also believe the things which are patched up with Duct tape are never broken again. In the Same sense, we all need Jesus tape to patch up our lives in all our needs whether it’s spiritual, physical healing, emotional or relationships. As David cried out to God, let’s all cry out to God for our healing.
