The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Behold I am coming quickly

Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. Rev 3:11

Firstly, the church at Philadelphia must remember that Jesus is coming quickly, and they must prepare for his coming. The expression “quickly” is to be understood as something which is sudden and unexpected, not necessarily Immediate. The Church at Philadelphia must not depart from its solid foundation, as described in Rev 3:8 and holding fast to what they have.

-Evangelistic Opportunity (I have set before you an Open door)
-Reliance on God (You have a little strength)
– Faithfulness to Jesus (Have kept my word and have not denied my name)

In this passage from Rev 3:7-13 verses written to the church of Philadelphia. In the New Testament many verses describe that our ‘Body’ is a temple (1 Cor 6:19) that God dwells in it. We often think church is a physical building, but God declares your body is a temple that He lives in.  From the passage above as an individual we can take things written to church of Philadelphia, by holding fast to what we have and taking the gospel to open door (Heart) And proclaiming gospel to the unreached.
The idea of a crown might be given to another if they failed to hold fast to what they have. Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life (Prov 4:23). You are in no greater danger from anyone or anything than yourself.
