The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Fullness of time

But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law. Gal 4:4

When the time fully had come suggests that God had planned the event of sending His Son for a long time. There is a proper time for everything God does. the word says in Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, “To everything there is season, A time for every purpose under heaven”.

The idea behind the phrase the fullness of time is “when the time was right.” Jesus came at just the right time in God’s redemptive plan, when the world was perfectly prepared for God’s work. Jesus came not only as God’s Son, but also as one born of a woman, born under law. The eternal Son of God in heaven added humanity to His divine status and became a man, born of a woman, born under law.

These things do not happen on man’s schedule, but on God’s. God’s timetable extends to our lives, to this very hour. There are things God plans for you in the fullness of his time. He knows, he has planned, and through these things he brings blessing. Sometimes pain, yes, but blessings with the pain and struggle. We’re in God’s loving hands. “My times are in your hands,” says David (Psalm 31:15a), and we trust Him. God made perfect plan to save us.
