In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem: “Do not fear; Zion, let not your hands be weak.”- Zephaniah 3:16
All of us are curious to know what happens at the end of every movie or show. It’s the ending that captivates us. Some people like to watch the ending first, so that they’re better informed about what’s going to happen in the movie. In this chapter, God is revealing to us how it would be for the believers when the world, as we know it, ends.
“In that day” refers to the future when God sets up His Kingdom on the earth during His millennial reign and we will reign with Him as His children!
So, we need not fear about our future as the penalty for our sins has been paid by Jesus on the cross and He was judged so that we may not be judged for our sins. “So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus.” Rom. 8:1
If you’re fearful about the challenges you’re facing today, be encouraged that our God is with us and is fighting for us, to deliver us from all our fears!
