The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Salvation is for Everyone

For whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved. – Romans 10:13

Apostle Paul is quoting Joel 2:32 to highlight that Salvation is open to everyone. Earlier in the same book, Paul mentions that there is no difference in condemnation as all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:22-23). In this verse, he affirms that there is no difference in Salvation, as it is free and open to everyone who believe in Him and call upon the name of the Lord. Are you saved? If not, call upon Him and be saved!

The Bible is filled with people who were saved from different backgrounds, cultures and vocations when they called on the name of the Lord. For instance, Saul, the persecutor (Acts 9), the thief on the cross (Luke 23), Roman Jailer (Acts 16), Samaritan woman (John 4) and many more. We, as gentiles who are saved by His grace, should be ever grateful to Jesus who broke the wall of division! Hallelujah!

There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus. Galatians‬ ‭3‬:‭28‬
