Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; for YAH, the Lord, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation.” – Isaiah 12:2
Isaiah 12 records a hymn of praise that will be sung by the redeemed people of God, when Jesus returns to set up His millennial Kingdom. In fact, for a child of God, there can never be a day without singing praises to God. As praising & worshiping God is the the only activity which we will be doing when we get to Heaven, let us be prepared for His second coming by offering the praises which are due unto Him daily!
While there are many reasons to praise the Lord, today’s verse gives us atleast 3 reasons to praise Him. We should praise Him:
– For God is our Salvation.
– For the Lord God is our strength and song.
– For He is the only one who can be absolutely trusted in our lives.
Oh come, let us sing to the Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Psalms 95:1
