For I proclaim the name of the LORD: Ascribe greatness to our God. Deut 32:3
We often hear people say, “God is so mean!”, “Why should God allow this to happen to good people?”, “God is partial”… and many more things against God. That clearly shows that they do not know who God is. To talk about God, we should know who He is, His character, and the revelation of His greatness.
When we have the personal experience of His love, His forgiveness, His mercy, and grace, we cannot contain it to ourselves, but proclaim His name, as the name above all names, the Rock of our Salvation, who is perfect, just, faithful, and upright.
May our hearts echo with Moses in singing the song of remembrance about our God who is Almighty and powerful, yet He loves us, and redeemed us from our bondages, washed us of our sins, bears us in patience, corrects us in love. May we ascribe the Lord the glory due to His name and proclaim His goodness and greatness for the generations to come, for He deserves it all.
