The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, and He delights in his way. Psalm 37:23
The reason the Lord establishes our steps is because He Loves His Children and He is willing and pleased to be our protector and provider not only in this life but even in eternal life. Though we fall, he holds us with righteous right hand lifting us up and setting us on the rock Jesus Christ. If the fall came because of sin in our lives, He offers us forgiveness and restoration when we confess that sin.
One way we can prevent our steps from slipping is to hide the word of God in our heart. How blessed are we to have a God who delights in our ways. He is waiting to be intimately involved in every detail of our life. Are you willing to allow Him to be the LORD of your life?
