The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

The Promise of Restoration

Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I declare; Before they spring forth I tell you of them. Isaiah 42:9

The former things refer to the punishment that came upon humanity for its sins. Jesus, in becoming sin, was nailed to the cross as payment for our sins. The work on the cross has finished, and forgiveness of sins is readily available for all of humanity.

The new things refer to the kingdom that God is preparing for His saints. As we observe the events happening in the world around us, we realize that the coming of Christ is imminent.

Spring forth offers a promise of a new beginning, a declaration of hope, and a reminder that even before events come into being, they are made known to us.

May the Lord open our eyes to the truth of His second coming.
