And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory… full of grace and truth. John 1:14
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1). This verse identifies Jesus Christ as the Word, the Creator God through whom all things were made. The profound mystery unfolds as the Creator takes on the form of the created. Jesus, also known as Immanuel, meaning “God with us” (John 1:14), is the divine dwelling among humanity.
Why did God choose to become Jesus and dwell among us? Because He wants us to experience the glory of God and reveal the grace and truth. If the presence of a significant person, like a president, brings joy and security, imagine the peace that comes when God dwells in our hearts. As Immanuel, God is with us, there’s no room for fear. We find comfort, joy, and peace, knowing that God is our refuge, saving us from every danger and evil.
