1 Corinthians 11:1.
“Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ.”
Imitator. Interestingly we have been instructed to be an imitator. But what kind of imitator, be an imitator on a TikTok or being an imitator by making life long impact an impact of sharing love, and caring for others. John said, “Whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.” Apostle Paul instructed the people of Ephesus, “Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.” That gives us the right understanding of what type of imitator we should be that we can leave the long-lasting impact. Let’s start our day today with getting the instructions of what needs to be imitated and ask God our creator and master to lead us to provide us wisdom to understand and strengthen us and give us the courage to follow the instructions to imitate Him.
Prayer: Dear Lord Heavenly Father, mighty wonderful God, Lord, thank you for this life once again, and as I continue with what you have provided, help me to live my life, imitating you loving and caring for those who you have provided in my life. In Jesus’s Holy Name, I pray Amen.
