Those who sow in tears reap in joy. Psalms 126:5
Christian journey begins with sowing “tears/sorrow of repentance” that leads to the reaping of “Salvation experience” – heart filled with joy unspeakable and peace that passes all understanding.
Hannah in her bitter distress, prayed to the Lord and wept with many tears for childbirth and in its appointed time God blessed her with a son who became a prophet. Hannah reaped in joy.
Disciples were desolate, distressed, were hopeless when Jesus was crucified and buried like a seed. In the appointed time Jesus' resurrection brought songs of joy unto them and to the whole world.
Seed has hidden life in it, it can be reaped through the resurrection power of Christ only when it's down. Instead of suffering from whatever burden you are bearing or whatever burden of sin you are clinging to or whatever addiction you are suffering from, sow it at the presence of God in prayer with tears and Christ by His resurrection power will help you experience what reaping in joy means!
