The name Jesus means “Savior.” It is derived from the name Joshua in the Old Testament. And it is given to our Lord as said “ Mat 1:21 …. you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save his people from their sins.”
Phil 2:9 Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name.
JESUS is the way, the truth and the life. He is the King of kings and the Lord of Lords, might lawfully have taken some more high-sounding title. But He does not do so. The rulers of this world have often called themselves supremes, the great, majestic, conquerors, bold, magnificent etc. The Son of God is content to call Himself as Savior and intent to save every person on this earth.
Let us worship JESUS with heart-full of praises for He is our Savior!
Father God, thank you for your son JESUS! I praise and worship His beautiful name. JESUS the name above all names. In JESUS name, Amen!!
