The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Have confidence that God is watching us

For the eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous… (1 Pet. 3:12)

In Acts 12, we see that King Herod seized Peter and kept him in prison. The King was awaiting until Passover to execute Peter. But constant prayers were offered to God for Peter by the Church. In the nighttime, when he was bound by chains, behold an angel of the Lord stood by him and saved him. We see that Peter was delivered, and finally, King Herod was destroyed.

Based on this story, we can learn that the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous (Peter), and His ears are open to their prayers (Church); But the face of the LORD is against those who do evil (King Herod). As we are declared righteous by the precious blood of Jesus, remember that El Roi watches over us and delivers us from all fears, affliction, and temptations.
