For whom the Lord loves He corrects… (Prov. 3:12)
We use “Heavenly Father” very commonly/loosely in our prayers. Unfortunately, sometimes we do not mean it. It is essential to comprehend the Heavenly Father’s characteristics. He loves us and shows compassion whenever needed. He is kind, trustworthy, forgiving, caring, and a great helper. Besides, we can also learn that He corrects us as well. Whenever God corrects us, remember that He is doing it out of love.
God is our Potter and we are the clay; we are all the work of His hand. If the clay lump is not forming a perfect vessel, with His fingers correct the vessel and bring it to perfection. As you are a chosen vessel, He doesn’t want us to be empty or weaker vessels, but the vessel of honor and holy, perfect vessel. Next time when God corrects you, instead of resisting, allow Him to do the work unto perfection.
