“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away…” 2 Corinthians 5:17
There is a story told about a man named Brian, who in his 30s, had undergone two heart transplants. He mentioned how blessed he felt to be alive when he understood that someone had to die and donate their organs, for him to have another chance at life.
Likewise, Our Lord Jesus Christ voluntarily gave His life in order to deliver us from our old sinful life and granted us a New Life. Let us be truly grateful to Him and make a resolution to live and maintain the new holy life which was granted to us and not to return to our old sinful nature, all throughout this year.
