Jesus Christ, the Infinite One, humbled himself and entered this world as a human. He humbled himself further by dying on the cross for us. Because of this great rescue act, He has been given a name which is above every other name and at His name every knee will bow.
To bow down is to accept one’s authority. Lord Jesus has the ultimate authority over everything in this world. ‘Salvation’ is an act of bowing down to Him and accepting Him as ‘Lord’ over our lives. There will be a day when every knee will bow before Him as He returns to judge the world!
