The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Let everything that has breath Praise the LORD!

Praise the LORD, call upon His name; Declare His deeds among the peoples… Isaiah 12:4

Isaiah 12 is a hymn of praise, a graphic description of the joy of people when Jesus Christ comes to reign over the earth. Praise is an act of magnifying and honoring God for Who He is and the act of exalting God’s great name. All of God’s creation in the entire universe praise Him and declare His glory. As human beings, we cannot stop praising Jehovah God because we are created in His own image, due to sin when we were lost, God recreated our identity in His only Son Jesus Christ, who Has become our Salvation when we called upon His name. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If praising God was so vital in the old testament, before Christ, before Christ’s death and resurrection, how much more it is for New Testament believers who live in the Church Age and await for Christ’s Return. God desires us to declare His mighty deeds among the people for the extension of God’s Kingdom.

“Whenever we have to praise God, what do we do? We simply say what He is! ‘You are this and You are that.’ There is no other praise. We cannot fetch anything from anywhere else and bring it to God; the praises of God are simply the facts about Himself! If you want to praise the Lord Jesus Christ, tell the people about Him.” ― Charles Spurgeon
