Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker! Ps 95:6
In this chapter, there are 7 verses which identify with the tone of the verse above. WORSHIP.
They are a call for us to worship and Praise.
Firstly – Corporate Worship
1) the Psalmist here calls for corporate worship. The Words “Let us” occurs 6 times.
we see an emphasis of it in this psalm. There is private worship and
then there is Corporate worship, may be in a church or in a family setting.
“Let us” not neglect it.
Secondly – Reason of Worship
2) the first 6 verses define a few reasons why we should worship him.
great King, Our Maker, He made the Sea, his hands formed the dry land.
3) The above reasons are good but not the best reason as the psalmist explains in the 7th verse.
For he is our God, people of his pasture, sheep of his hand.
Here we see the Worship Emanating, from being redeemed and owned by the Lord God.
That can only be stated by someone, who has tasted the redeeming power of God.
– Have you been Redeemed by the Blood of Christ?
