Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will by no means pass away – Matt. 24:35
Many of the bible prophecies were fulfilled but few are yet to be fulfilled as prophesied by the Prophets of God. What was foretold by the prophets? Jesus birth, death, resurrection and his second coming.
In the days of Noah, God judged the world with flood. Noah was building the ark for approximately 100+ years. When Noah warned about the coming of the flood, people didn’t listen to him. Similarly, the Gospel is preached all over the world for more than 2000 years. As in the days of Noah even now people are thoughtless.
Many are growing cold in faith because 2000 years have already passed by and there is nothing new under the sun – all things continue just as they were from the beginning of creation. Why God is delaying His coming? For God, 20 centuries are equivalent to 2 days – For Him 1000 years is one day. God is delaying his coming so more people will be added to his Kingdom. The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever – Isaiah 40:8. As per His word, the one who ascended to heaven will again come back. Our hope will never be disappointed.
Prayer: Father God, in our trials and tribulations help us to hold on to your promises which will stand forever. In Jesus name I pray – Amen!!!
