The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

God will carry you

… the Lord your God carried you, as a man carries his son – Deut. 1:31

Israelites were refusing to enter the promised land because they saw the giants of the lands and were terrified by them. Moses is encouraging the Israelites by explaining all the miracles God performed in their wilderness journey. God literally carried them like a man carrying his son.

Like Israelites, we too panic when we face problems. The God who opened the red sea, who brought the water from rocks and manna from Heaven for the Israelites, will He abandon them in wilderness? For sure a big “No”.  God allows some temporary problems in our life so that His mighty power can be revealed through us.

We are no different than Israelites, many times we get discouraged easily by looking at the situation. When things don’t go as per our plan we get carried away. Always pray for God's will and even though He takes through some difficult path the end will be glorious. God who carried Israelites will carry us too. Don’t be discouraged.

Prayer: Father God, you are the one who carried me in the past and help me to believe that You will lead and guide me in the future as well. In Jesus name I pray – Amen!!!
