That he would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man. Eph. 3:16
This is a verse taken from Paul’s prayer for Ephesian believers which implies a prayer for the body of Christ too which is us. The inner man which signifies our spiritual life ought to be strengthened, nourished, renewed day by day just as our physical person does. We take great care of our physical life. How much more should we care about our spiritual life? Just as our physical being, our inner spiritual being can get old, lose connection with God.
As we utilize principles from God’s Word, we will grow in Christ. It will nourish our inner being. God does not give to us according to our standards but according to the standard of His enormous riches. God empowers us with that kind of riches. He gives to us according to the riches of His glory. May we be strengthened in our inner man according to the riches of His glory.
