I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; From where shall my help come? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. Psa. 121:1,2
Times of difficulty, fear, uncertainty, anxiety, trouble and disappointment attacks one or the other time to every human. Where we first run during those times is what we give the highest priority to. David is the best exemplar who turned towards God as soon as he or his kingdom was hit by an enemy. He trusted that help comes from God alone, the maker of Heaven and Earth. God made him a triumphant king. David experienced victory after victory only because the Lord was His help.
Help comes from the Lord alone provided our eyes are set upon him and our heart trusts that he is a mighty God, mighty to save us from any kind of difficulty. Some trust in horses, some trust in chariots but we trust in the name of the Lord. May the Lord guide us to set our eyes upon Him alone.
