The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

God’s favor!

For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning .”. -Ps. 30:5

David experienced as many ups and downs, triumphs and sorrows as anyone in life. As a shepherd, giant-slayer, warrior, fugitive, exile, father, and king, he had seen it all.

No night lasts forever. The sun will always rise, and with the dawn comes the blessing and favor of the Father, who blesses, strengthens and delivers His children. David had seen this time and time again.

As we travel through life we experience many phases of difficulty and pain, often a product of our sinful actions, careless attitude or foolish indifference towards God or others. But the chastening rod of our Father in heaven is short-lived.. and the momentary affliction we receive from His Fatherly hand is for our beneficial training, and is beyond all comparison with the eternal weight of glory that awaits us, in Christ.

My Prayer:

Heavenly Father I praise and thank You for Your loving-kindness and long-suffering towards all Your children. Thank You that no matter what difficulty and pain We may go through in this life, that weeping will be replaced with laughter and pain with joy, in Jesus name, AMEN.
