The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Give glory which is due to His name

“Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name; Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness” – Psalm 29:2

To ascribe glory means to give the Lord what He alone deserves. We don’t add a measure to His glory, but we reflect to Him the glory that He inherently has!

The Psalmist highlights many attributes of God in this Psalm which would encourage us to give glory to God and worship Him.

The Lord is a Holy God.

The Lord is an omnipotent God

The voice of the Lord is powerful and majestic

The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars, divides the flames of fire, shakes the wilderness.

       The Lord rules over floodwaters

The Lord reigns as King forever

       The Lord strengthens His people

The Lord blesses His people with peace

This morning, let us acknowledge His majesty, power, authority, splendor by worshipping Him as He is truly worthy of all our praise & adoration!
