But I want you to know, brethren, that the things which happened to me have actually turned out for the furtherance of the gospel. Phil. 1:12
Apostle Paul was in prison when he wrote the letter to Philippians. Yet, he was assuring them that his imprisonment had allowed the gospel to progress. Even in chains, he shared the gospel to the people freely, whoever God brought before him, which strengthened his fellow believers to preach the Word without fear.
God had turned a bad situation in Paul’s life into something far better. Wherever we are or whichever situation we face, may we be assured that God can purpose our day for good and every situation may be an opportunity to advance the gospel through our lives, only when we let Christ rule our hearts. There can be so much opposition, but nothing can hinder God’s work to move further.
