Christ is the head and we are the body of Christ. As the human organs are interdependent for man to function, so does the body of Christ consisting of believers of Christ, all over the world, of every nation, and every tribe is interdependent. During this course of inter-dependence whenever we find a fainthearted or a weak believer, we ought to persistently encourage, love, comfort, pray unceasingly, and be patient with them.
A believer is distinguished from the world in these qualities of caring for others just as Christ has cared for us, as Christ has been patient with us, upheld us in all our low moments of life.
When the Lord directs the needy person to approach us with their burden, may we grab the opportunity to encourage them or even soothingly correct them? Let’s do unto others as we want to be done unto us. May the spirit of the Lord help us to do so. Amen.
