And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works. Hebrews 10:24
Apostle Paul is instructing us as believers and children of God to be concerned about our brothers and sisters in Christ and to stir up one another in love and good deeds. We are to care for each other and consider how to encourage one another in love just as Christ loved us, and to produce good deeds that God has prepared for us to do.
We as believers are instructed to stir others unto love and to do good works. It is very easy to stir up anger and strife through unkindness and criticism but as believers we are instructed to stir up love. This is possible only if we experience the unchanging and agape love of our God. Good works can only be carried out in our lives through the power of the Holy Spirit. Let us strive to promote and encourage love and good works in others through Christ Jesus, in spirit and in truth.
