The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Lord is my Strength and Song

The Lord is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him – Exodus 15:2

The above verse is the song of deliverance sung by Moses and Israelites when the Lord delivered them from the hand of Egyptians (Slavery). People of God in old testament were enslaved to Egyptian bondage and they cried to God for help and He delivered them.Similarly people of new testament who were slaves to sin were delivered by the great sacrifice of Christ Jesus. Before accepting Christ, I was under the bondage of sin like Israelites. God in his abundant mercy intervened in my life and set me free. Without God in my life, I would have gone astray. I can truly say that God is my strength and song of my salvation. Similarly each and everyone of you will have your own testimonies.

People of the world worship what they do not know but we worship the Lord from whom salvation came. Lord is the strength of our life and He  is our stronghold. He pulled us from darkness to marvelous light.

When we meditate on the wonderous things He has done in our lives, we couldn't stop praising him. O LORD, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done marvelous things, things planned long ago – Isaiah 25:1

Prayer: Father God,  thank you for delivering me from slavery of sin. I will take joy in the God of salvation. In Jesus name, I pray – Amen !!!
