The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Love your neighbor

For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: Love your neighbor as yourself – Galatians 5:14

You can easily love the people who love you, but it will be difficult to love your neighbor or enemy who is unreasonable. Without the help of the Holy Spirit, one cannot love anyone unconditionally.

Scripture says love is patient and kind. It does not envy nor boast. Love never fails. The love mentioned here is brotherly love (Phileo – in Greek). Of all three- faith, love and hope, Love is the greatest.  Let’s not be judgmental rather spread the fragrance of God by loving one another as commanded by Him.

Paul goes on to say, we may have faith to move mountains, gift of prophecy, know mysteries of God and speak angelic tongues but if we don’t have love then we are like noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.

Prayer: Father God, pour your Holy Spirit upon us so that we may be able to love our neighbors as instructed by you. In Jesus name I pray – Amen!!!
