I wait for the LORD, my whole being waits, and in His word I put my hope – Ps. 130:5
Abraham was 75 years old when he received the promise, but it took another 25 years for the fulfillment of God’s promise. Similarly, Joseph had a vision when he was 17 years old but the promise was fulfilled when he was 30 years old. David was anointed as king by Samuel at the age of around 15 years, but he became king at the age of 30. All the great men of God waited more than a decade for their promises to be fulfilled.
As people of God, you might be waiting and hoping in God for your physical healing, immigration breakthroughs, marriage, job, ministry growth, promotion etc. Don’t give up, our God is faithful and he will fulfill your heart’s desires.
Waiting time is not wasting time, the Lord will train you during the period so that you may be a blessing for many.
Prayer: Father God, help us not be anxious but to wait in your presence like Mary for our promises to be fulfilled. In Jesus name I pray – Amen!!!
