He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned – Mark 16:16
All have sinned and fallen short of God’s glory. All God expects is to repent and to obey in the waters of Baptism so that our many sins will be forgiven. Mankind is rebellious and wicked that they don't want the free gift of God but rather they want to earn it.
Furthermore, Baptism is not dipping in water for the removal of dirt, but it is an appeal to God for good conscience through the resurrection of Christ. If we see the history of Mankind, the revelation about God was progressive. Mankind had a better understanding only when God came in flesh and revealed Himself to us. In the 21st century, we have the written word of God in our hand, it is time to acknowledge His sacrifice on the cross and to repent, if we haven’t yet.
Scripture says, for this is the will of God the Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day – John 6:40
Prayer: Father God, thank you for granting us the saving faith that we may not be condemned along with the world and help everyone who is contemplating to obey in waters of Baptism. In Jesus name I pray – Amen!!!
