I have set the Lord always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved – Ps 16:8
The Psalmist (David) was a godly person, yet he went through sufferings. We read, King Saul sought to kill him and to escape from him he will enter enemy territory (Philistines) assuming that they won't recognize him as the one who killed Goliath. However, when they recognize him, he will pretend like an insane person.
Are you in an insane situation like David? Praying for physical or emotional healing or a personal breakthrough but yet no answer even after following God diligently? Scripture says, godly will never be forsaken nor his seed will be begging for bread.
The Psalmist (David) faced many trials in life, yet he was able to navigate through all the hardships because he always set the Lord before him. He finished his race well. He was the one who ruled both Israel and Judah. Like David we may go through many trials in life but the God who assisted David will help all of us to finish strongly and He will lead us with his righteous right hand. Do not be dismayed!
Prayer: Father God, our eyes are set towards you, in you we seek refuge. Lead us with your righteous right hand. In Jesus name I pray – Amen!!!
