Acknowledge the one who gave us victory.

Psalms 57:9 “I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the peoples; I will sing praises to you among the nations.”
Often we forget to acknowledge His mercies working in and through us all the time. When we get to natural life we tend to get too involved in it that we forget God’s presence working in and through us. We often forget that we can’t do anything without His mercies and grace to allow and enable our bodies to be functional. We forget that we can’t even breathe if it is not Him working in and through us.
We get too busy responding to our business without acknowledging His presence.
In our verse today, I like the idea of mercy being great unto the heavens and truth unto the clouds. We can say it is symbolism, but God’s mercy does reach the heavens because that is how we get there. And His truth encompasses everything we know, including the clouds. Let’s not partition our lives with God on one side and “real” life on the other.
Let’s remember that God’s mercy and truth are everywhere, and let’s embrace it everywhere rather than trying to live part of our lives without that necessary goodness.
God can help us at work or school, and our homes within our families, communities, and co-workers, and we can serve Him in the places He had placed us.
Promise: “the God who equipped me with strength and made my way blameless…. You delivered me from strife with the people; you made me the head of the nations; people whom I had not known served me.”
Prayer: Dear Lord Heavenly Father mighty wonderful God. Lord, I praise and glorify Your holy name, for You alone are worthy of all praise and honor. Thank You, that You are my Rock, my Fortress, and my great Deliverer. Thank You, that You the Horn of my salvation, in whom I place my trust. I exalt Your holy name and bless You for my creation, preservation, and all the many blessings of this life. But above all, I thank You, Father, for Your inestimable love in the redemption of the world through our Lord Jesus Christ, for the means of grace, and the hope of glory. Lord help me and guide me to remember You in everything I do and acknowledge that unless it is You working in and through me I can’t do anything. Help me to remember You and give thanks to You in every situation and all the time. May Your name be glorified among the nations throughout the world. Use me Lord to bring glory to Your Holy name through everything I do. In Jesus’s Holy Name, I pray Amen.
