The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Blameless in the day of Christ

Who will also confirm you to the end, that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Cor. 1:8

Several years back, we visited Ten Thousand Islands located in NY. In the center of this Island, we visited Boldt’s Castle. George C. Boldt, the owner of the prestigious Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City, planned to build this 120-room Boldt castle to showcase his life for his wife. But unfortunately, after 4 years of construction, his wife died suddenly, and Mr. Boldt couldn’t complete the Castle. As humans, we start several things in our life, but many times, we will not be able to stay till the end or finish.

Today’s verse is a great reminder that God is not like humans. If God starts anything, He will not turn back and ensure it is finished. If you consider our salvation work, God makes sure that He will confirm (keep firm) till the end. All who believe in the Lord Jesus will be considered blameless when Jesus Christ returns. God is sealing our salvation with the seal of the Holy Spirit (He is claiming that we are His own), knowing well that if God seals it, no one can open or break it.

In our lives, everything is a race. As God only can bring us to the finish line every time, let us solely depend on him by knowing that He is only faithful in our lives.
