The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Redemption

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace. Eph 1:7

The word “redeem” means “to buy out”. Whenever we see the word “buy”, immediately our mind goes to money. People think that they can buy anything with money in this world. However, there are a few things you can’t buy with money, one of which is “redemption”. Bible does not say that we are REDEEMED with money but with much more precious than that is, through the “blood of Jesus Christ”.

The plan of “redemption” is not a simple task executed by God. In the chapter of Eph 1, we can observe the work of the “trinity”. We can see that “God the Father” has “CHOSEN” us before the foundation of the world (v. 4), “God the Son” has “REDEEMED” us through His blood (v. 7) and “SEALED” with the promised “Holy Spirit God” (v.13), which speaks of “finishing up the transaction”. God took care of our “redemption” task from the end-end according to the “riches of His grace”.
