The meaning of “privilege” is a special right, advantage, or immunity granted or available only to a particular person or group. If you consider airlines, the higher privileged member you are, the better benefits you have, which include access to five-star lounges while traveling. However, you will not become a top-privileged member without spending much money. The more you spend, the higher privileged member you become.
The Bible talks about a much higher privilege – to become children of God. For this, we don’t need to spend anything. Instead, you need to accept Jesus as your personal savior. By doing this, we become His heirs (v. 29) and coheirs with Christ (Romans 8:17). We become full members of His family. We have a heaven lounge access, which has every spiritual blessing in heavenly places to enjoy. This is possible only because of the great sacrifice of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus, and the faith we have in Him. Let us be thankful to our God, who not only made us children of God but also made us access to the holy of holies to experience the presence of our Heavenly Father.
